CODE of CONDUCT
The Willetton Sports Club Inc exists for the enjoyment of its members and their guests and aims to provide an environment that is conducive to that enjoyment by all. The following Code of Conduct applies to all members, guests and staff (including contractors) when on Club premises, and to all members engaged in Club activities on the Burrendah Reserve, or when representing the Club or participating in Club activities at other venues.
1. We treat all others, including members, guests and staff with courtesy and respect.
2. We behave as responsible members of the Willetton community and show respect for neighbouring premises and their occupants.
3. We do not behave in a manner likely to cause offence to others, to infringe on their enjoyment of the Club and its facilities or bring the Club into disrepute.
4. Under no circumstances do we engage in unruly or violent behaviour.
5. We treat Club premises and property with respect.
6. We maintain suitable dress standards when on Club premises.
7. As members we accept responsibility for the behaviour of our guests, including the supervision and control of children accompanying us on Club premises.
8. We practice responsible service of alcohol and accept the obligations this places on both members and staff.
9. As members we leave Club premises when requested to do so by the President, Vice President or a staff member.
10. We abide by the Constitution, By Laws and Rules of the Club and by the rules and requirements applying to any Division of which we are a member and their governing sporting associations.
Under clause 5.6 of the Club Constitution, the Committee has the power to suspend or expel any member of the Club in the event of that member behaving in a manner likely to impair or affect the enjoyment of the Club by other members. The mode of suspension or expulsion is contained in Clause 5.6 of the Constitution.
