With an emphasis on our league side, our sponsorship package is designed to give strong exposure to a wide audience through our league, reserves, thirds and colt’s sides.

We recognise that in today’s highly competitive market for sponsorship dollars, unless we achieve benefits for our sponsors as well as our players and supporters, sponsorships will not develop into long-term relationships. Building these long-term relationships is the cornerstone of our sponsorship policy.

Sponsorship Options

Sponsorship of the Willetton Amateur Football Club is very much done on an individual needs basis. As many businesses have varying requirements and special needs, the terms of any sponsorship arrangement can be discussed to best satisfy what your business requires. For example; entertainment venues might prefer regular patronage rather than extensive signage or name exposure. Whilst the Club does have specific sponsorship packages, these tend to serve as general guidelines as to what would have to be contributed in order to achieve a particular level of sponsorship.

The Club offers four different levels of sponsorship. Below is a general description of what each of these can entail.

Premiers Club Sponsorship

• Generally, Premiers Club sponsorship requires a contribution in excess of $2,500 and represents major sponsorship of the Club. The form this contribution may take is negotiable (ie; player awards, cash etc), however, the high running costs of the Club make cash contributions highly desirable. A Premiers Club sponsor may receive the following:

• Priority signage at all home games.
• Display of Business logo on the letterhead of all official Club correspondence.
• Five entries into the annual Blues Jumper Classic (see below).
• Promotion of the sponsor at all post-training and post-game functions.
• One free membership to the Willetton Sports Club.
• Free entry to all Football Club Social events, including the end-of-season Awards Function.
• Promotion on the Club’s Official web-site and monthly newsletters.
• Invitations to the Club’s ‘Sponsors Day’s’, which usually coincide with a home game against a fierce local rival. Sponsors will receive complimentary seating and catering.
• The distribution of any promotional material in a mutually agreed manner.
• Attendance at functions to be held at the sponsors premises (if applicable).

Captains Club Sponsorship

• Captains Club sponsorship requires a contribution of $1500 to $2499. Again, the form this contribution may take is negotiable. A Captains Club sponsor may receive the following:

• Priority signage (subject to Premiers Club signage) at all home games.
• Three entries into the annual Blues Jumper Classic (see below).
• Promotion of the sponsor at all post-training and post-game functions.
• One free membership to the Willetton Sports Club.
• Free entry to all Football Club Social events, including the end-of-season Awards Function.
• Promotion on the Club’s Official web-site and monthly newsletters.
• Invitations to the Club’s ‘Sponsors Day’s’, which usually coincide with a home game against a fierce local rival. Sponsors will receive complimentary seating and catering.
• The distribution of any promotional material in a mutually agreed manner.

Blues Club Sponsorship

• Blues Club sponsorship requires a contribution of $500 to $1499, the form of which is negotiable. A Blues Club sponsor may receive the following:

• Signage at all home games.
• Two entries into the annual Blues Jumper Classic (see below).
• Promotion of the sponsor at all post-training and post-game functions.
• Free entry to all Football Club Social events, including the end-of-season Awards Function.
• Promotion on the Club’s Official web-site and monthly newsletters.
• Invitations to the Club’s ‘Sponsors Day’s’, which usually coincide with a home game against a fierce local rival. Sponsors will receive complimentary seating and catering.
• The distribution of any promotional material in a mutually agreed manner.

Supporters Club Sponsorship

• Supporters Club sponsorship requires a contribution of $150 to $499 in the form of a monetary contribution. A Supporters Club sponsor may receive the following:

• Promotion of the sponsor at all post-training and post-game functions.
• One entry into the annual Blues Jumper Classic (see below).
• Promotion on the Club’s Official web-site and monthly newsletters.
• Invitations to the Club’s ‘Sponsors Day’s’, which usually coincide with a home game against a fierce local rival. Sponsors will receive complimentary seating and catering.
• The distribution of any promotional material in a mutually agreed manner.

As previously stated, the above information serves as guidelines to what your sponsorship package may entail. Those not satisfied with the packages described above, but still want to have the opportunity to be associated with the Willetton Blues Football Club can have a sponsorship package tailored to you, relative to the contribution you wish to make.

Jumper Classic

The annual Willetton Blues Jumper Classic takes place on the night of the last training session before round one. This marque event for the Club signifies the official start to the season and provides a platform for the coaches to discuss their prospective plans and goals for the season ahead and name their playing group for round one.

In 2007 this nigh will be held on Thu April 12th in conjunction with a sports night featuring special guest David Rhys-Jones former Sydney and Carlton champion.

Catering and entertainment is provided for all sponsors.

In addition, as a sponsor, your business is given the opportunity to become a jumper sponsor (your business name is printed on the side’s jumpers for the entire season) for one of the league, reserves, thirds or colts’ sides. This provides your business with extensive exposure in a variety of Perth suburbs throughout the season. Depending on your level of sponsorship, your business may receive up to five entries in the jumper classic, from which, a business is drawn out of a hat for each of the three sides (the league side is excluded as it has a specific sponsorship arrangement). The number of entries your business may receive for the jumper classic is relative to your contribution:

• Premiers Club – 5 entries
• Captains Club – 3 entries
• Blues Club – 2 entries
• Supporters Club – 1 entry

As detailed previously, the terms of any sponsorship arrangement are negotiable and this includes the Jumper Classic.
